Exercise, and even getting out of the house, can be a right pain when you have fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, arthritis, CRPS or any kind of persistent pain. Yoga for Pain lets you practice pain care skills, as part of an enjoyable, normal activity. Learn how yoga can help you to reduce pain, improve the way you move and give you the strength and mobility to get back to the activities you love.
Normally $65, this gentle workshop is offered to people with persistent pain at a subsidised rate. The workshop is part of the local Yoga for Pain Practitioner Training we are running. The aim of this training is to develop local providers so you have more choice.
You will be doing yoga alongside other people with pain, and with the health professionals and yoga teachers on the Practitioner Training. They will be doing the yoga with you, so you won’t stand out. Join us for a cuppa afterwards to talk about what it’s like to have pain.
Please note this workshop is not suitable for health professionals or yoga teachers. (You can join our professional training!)
